Project:
Public relations campaign for the Fire
Suppression Systems Association.
Challenge:
Increase awareness of the features, functions and availability of special
hazards fire protection systems.
Implementation:
A four-part campaign including presentations to target audiences, feature
articles in industry publications, an enhanced web site and kits for
members to do locally what the organization did nationally.
Results:
In a two-year period, FSSA made more than 20 appearances in front of large
gatherings of fire protection decision makers, had 10 features published
in international magazines and increased traffic on its web site by 875
percent.
